Morton Gould Collection

Collection of musical sketches, drafts, and full scores of the noted American composer-arranger and conductor Morton Gould (1913-1996). Of particular interest are his sketches and drafts for his unfinished Balanchine ballet on the life of Johnny Appleseed. Also included are film scores for the “The Holocaust” and his WW I documentary. Some materials related to his presidency of ASCAP are also included.
