|| About the Collection ||
A large collection of music manuscript compositions and arrangements by the well-known American composer Ferde Grofe (1892-1972). He is best known for his Grand Canyon Suite and for his orchestration of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” and his collection contains many arrangements made for Paul Whiteman and for Grofe's own radio orchestra. Works for symphonic orchestra are also well represented in the collection.
