Harriet Hoctor (1905-1977) was a dancer well known in New York City in musical theater and films in the 1920s and 1930s. The small Hoctor Collection reflects aspects of her professional and, to a lesser extent, her personal life. Her film credits include “Shall We Dance” and “The Great Ziegfeld.” Her stage credits include “Simple Simon,” “Three Musketeers,” and “Show Girl.”
