The Pola Nirenska Collection is a major archive related to the life and work of this major 20th-century dancer and choreographer. The materials document her contributions in Europe and in the U.S. after her emigration in 1949. Nirenska’s archive contains extensive documentation during her many years of work in the Washington, D.C. area.
