Professor
Cantarella is a Professor of Roman Law at the University of Milan, Italy.
She has lectured and taught at several universities in Europe and the
United States, including the Global Law Faculty, New York University School
of Law. She is a leading classicist who examines ancient law from a law
and society perspective and relates it to modern legal issues. She has
published numerous articles in Italian and English, and two of her books
have been translated from Italian into several other languages.
