Kinky Friedman

Kinky Friedman

Kinky Friedman is a former songwriter and country music performer turned mystery writer. The main character in his mysteries is a retired country music performer turned detective. His most recent book is Steppin' on a Rainbow (HarperCollins, 2001), and a forthcoming book is Kinky Friedman's Guide to Texas Etiquette (Cliff Street Books). Mr. Friedman also writes a regular column for Texas Monthly magazine.
