Author Biography

Gail Tsukiyama

Gail Tsukiyama

Gail Tsukiyama has written poetry, short stories and four novels that reflect her multicultural upbringing and convey the personal stories of Chinese women. Her most recent book is The Language of Threads (St. Martin's Press, 1999). She is a recipient of the Academy of American Poets Award and is Book Reviews Editor of Pacific Rim Voices. In both 1997 and 1998, she sat as a judge for the Kiriyama Pacific Rim Book Award. Ms. Tsukiyama lives in El Cerrito, California.
