Author Biography

Diana Gabaldon

Diana Gabaldon

Diana Gabaldon holds a Ph.D. in ecology and spenta dozen years as a university professor before turning to writing full-time. Her debut novel, Outlander, has been optioned for a television mini-series. She is also the author of Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, and Drums of Autumn, and has won or been finalist for several Romance Writers of America awards. Her most recent book is The Fiery Cross (Random House, 2001). She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
