David Baldacci

David Baldacci

David Baldacci, trial and corporate attorney turned writer, has written seven original screenplays, short stories, a novella and eight bestselling novels. His first novel, Absolute Power (1996), won Britain's W.H. Smith's Thumping Good Read Award for fiction in 1997 and was nominated for a literary award in Italy. His most recent book, Split Second (TimeWarner, 2003), is a psychological thriller. Mr. Baldacci, who lives in Virginia, is a tireless advocate for literacy and the importance of reading.
