Author Biography

Julia Glass

Julia Glass

Julia Glass, who was a painter before turning to writing, has won several prizes for her short stories including three Nelson Algren Awards for short fiction and a Pirate's Alley Faulkner Society Medal for Best Novella. Her novel, Three Junes (2002; Anchor paperback, June 2003), won the 2002 National Book Award for Fiction. She lives in New York City.
