Author Biography

Wendell Minor

Wendell Minor

Wendell Minor, who studied at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, has created more than 2000 cover illustrations ranging from bestsellers to children's books. He draws upon his lifelong affinity for environmental issues to create illustrations that allow him to combine his love of the outdoors with his independent pursuits-including painting the landscape of life. His most recent book is America the Beautiful (Putnam, 2003). He lives in Connecticut.
