Patrick O'Connell

Patrick O'Connell

Patrick O'Connell is chef/owner of The Inn at Little Washington located in Washington, Virginia, about sixty miles west of Washington, D.C. The restaurant which Mr. O'Connell and his partner Reinhardt Lynch opened in 1978 was one of the first establishments in Mobil Travel Guide's history to win two Five-Star Awards simultaneously: one for its restaurant and another for its accommodations. Zagat's 2003 hotel survey ranked the inn's 100-seat dining room as America's best. Mr. O'Connell, the James Beard Outstanding Chef of 2001, is the author of The Inn at Little Washington: A Consuming Passion (Random House, 1996).
