Jacques Pépin

Jacques Pépin, one of America's best known chefs, is a food columnist, cookbook author, cooking teacher, and host of the public television series, Jacques Pépin Celebrates with his daughter, Claudine. The companion guide to the series, Jacques Pépin Celebrates (2001), won a 2002 James Beard Foundation Award for Entertaining and Special Occasions. His latest book is The Apprentice: My Life in the Kitchen (Houghton Mifflin, 2003). He lives in Madison, Connecticut.
