Author Biography

Jane Yolen

Jane Yolen

Award-winning author Jane Yolen is a poet, teacher of writing and literature, and a reviewer of books for young readers. She has written more than 200 books for children and young people. One of her most recent books is Bagpiper's Ghost (Harcourt, 2003). Her book awards include: the Caldecott Medal, two Christopher Medals, two Nebula Awards, the World Fantasy Award, three Mythopoeic Fantasy Awards, the Golden Kite Award and the Jewish Book Award. She divides her time between homes in Massachusetts and Scotland.
