Betsy Lewin

Betsy Lewin

Betsy Lewin wanted to be an artist ever since she was a little girl. She attributes her passion for children’s books to her mother, a kindergarten teacher, who read to Ms. Lewin and her brother every night. She is now an award-winning children’s book illustrator, recipient of the Caldecott Honor for Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type (2000). Her most recent book is Duck for President (Simon & Schuster, 2004). She and her husband, illustrator Ted Lewin, live in Brooklyn, New York.
