Kevin O'Connor
Kevin O’Connor enters his second season this year as host of This Old House, Ask This Old House and Inside This Old House. As a youngster, he and his brothers and sisters had various chores on job sites where his father was a civil engineer. Later, as an avid home enthusiast and lifelong This Old House fan, he and his wife sent an e-mail to Ask this Old House for help in renovating their Victorian fixer-upper. The segment resulted in his first screen test, and the rest is history. For his debut season on This Old House, Mr. O'Connor was nominated for an "Outstanding Service Show Host" Emmy Award, and in addition to hosting all three shows, he serves on the editorial board of This Old House magazine. He lives with his wife, north of Boston, in the home they are in the midst of renovating.
