Webcast

Nevada Barr won both the Agatha and Anthony awards in 1993 for best first mystery for Track of the Cat (1993). The book was the first in the Anna Pigeon series, which features a female park ranger as the protagonist and draws on Nevada Barr’s early experiences working in the National Parks and her interest in the environmental movement. Each of the 12 subsequent best-selling Anna Pigeon books, including her most recent, Hard Truth (Putnam, 2005), is set in a U.S. national park or other environmental location. Ms. Barr currently lives in Louisiana.
