For over a decade, Myrka Dellanos has been the No. 1 U.S. born, bilingual broadcast journalist in Spanish television. More than 20 million viewers throughout the United States, Latin America and worldwide have come to embrace and welcome her into their homes and families. She was the host of Univision Network’s successful news magazine show “Primer Impacto” for 10 years and now has her own prime time program, “En Exclusiva con Myrka Dellanos” or “Exclusively with Myrka Dellanos,” where she interviews the news makers of the moment. She has received numerous awards in journalism, including two Emmy Awards —one each for news reporting and news writing. Her new book is Triunfa y se Feliz; cosas que aprendi gracias a Dios, a mi madre y a la vida or "Succeed and Be Happy; things I learned thank God, my mother and life” (Random House, 2005). She lives with her 11- year-old daughter in Florida.
