Christopher Buckley is an American political satirist and the author of 11 books, including national best-sellers Thank You for Smoking, God Is My Broker and Little Green Men. Thank You For Smoking was developed into a major motion picture (2006), and a new paperback version of the book (Random House, 2006) was published to accompany the film’s release. Mr. Buckley is former managing editor of Esquire magazine and founding editor of Forbes FYI. He is the recipient of the ninth annual Thurber Prize for American Humor and the Washington Irving Medal for Literary Excellence. He lives in Washington, D.C.
