Alexandra Stoddard is a philosopher of contemporary living, an interior designer and an author of many best-selling books, including Choosing Happiness: Key to a Joyful Life (2002), which is in its fourth printing; Things I Want My Daughters to Know (2004), now in its ninth printing; and her most recent book, Time Alive: Celebrate Your Life Everyday (HarperCollins, 2005 ). She travels and lectures nationally, has been profiled in magazines worldwide and has made appearances on many television shows, including "Oprah!," "The Today Show" and "The Christopher Lowell Show." She lives in New York City and Stonington Village, Connecticut.
