Mo Willems is a six-time Emmy Award–winning writer and former animator for “Sesame Street,” and the creator of Cartoon Network’s “Sheep in the Big City.” Both his first book for children, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, and his fourth book, Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, won prestigious Caldecott Honors, and most of his books land on the New York Times best-seller list. His recent books include: Edwina: The Dinosaur Who Didn’t Know She Was Extinct, Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late! and You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When It Monsoons: The World on One Cartoon a Day -- all 2006 publications from Hyperion. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
