Haynes Johnson is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, a best-selling author and a television commentator. He has reported on every president from Dwight D. Eisenhower to Bill Clinton. In 1966 Johnson won the Pulitzer Price for distinguished national reporting of the civil rights struggle in Selma, Ala. Haynes Johnson is the author of national best-sellers such as Sleepwalking Through History, The Bay of Pigs and The Landing, his first novel. Johnson’s latest work is The Battle for America 2008: The Story of an Extraordinary Election (2009), which he wrote with Dan Balz.
