National Book Festival

New York Times best-selling author Andrew Clements taught in the public schools near Chicago for seven years before moving east to begin a career in publishing and writing. He has written many popular middle-grade novels, including "Frindle," winner of 16 state book awards and the Christopher Award; "The Report Card; The School Story; The Landry News;" and "The Janitor's Boy." His new books include the 10th anniversary edition of "Frindle, Room One: A Mystery or Two, "and" A Million Dots" -- all from Simon & Schuster (2006). He lives in Massachusetts.
