National Book Festival

An author and illustrator of children’s books, Anna Dewdney lives in a large old house in Vermont with three dogs. She worked as a rural mail carrier and a teacher at a boy’s boarding school for many years before becoming the full-time author and illustrator of the best-selling Llama Llama series. Her works include the acclaimed “Llama Llama Red Pajama,” “Nelly Gnu and Daddy Too” and the newest addition to the Llama Llama family, “Llama Llama Gram and Grandpa” (Penguin). She is an active advocate of literacy and has published several articles on the subject.
