National Book Festival

David Eisenhower is an author, public policy fellow and grandson of the 34th president, Dwight Eisenhower. He is a public policy fellow at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1987, he was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize for his book “Eisenhower at War: 1943-45.” His new book (with wife Julie Nixon Eisenhower) is “Going Home to Glory: A Memoir of Life with Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1961-1969” (Simon & Schuster). David and Julie Nixon Eisenhower will be in a program with Jean Edward Smith, author of a new Eisenhower biography. Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Jonathan Yardley will moderate.
