Jeff Chu has interviewed presidents and Britney Spears, Sen. John Warner and Ben Kingsley. His work has appeared in Time, Condé Nast Portfolio and Fast Company magazine, where he writes on international affairs, social issues and design. Chu is the nephew and grandson of Baptist preachers and an elder at the Old First Reformed Church in Brooklyn, N.Y. Last year, he took part in the Seminar on Debates in Religion and Sexuality at Harvard Divinity School. His new book is “Does Jesus Really Love Me? A Gay Christian’s Pilgrimage in Search of God in America” (HarperCollins).
