National Book Festival

John A. Farrell has served as a congressional correspondent for National Journal magazine and has also worked for The Denver Post and The Boston Globe. His book “Tip O'Neill and the Democratic Century” is an award-winning account of the speaker of the House and his times. In 2011, his book “Clarence Darrow: Attorney for the Damned” won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Biography. Farrell’s latest biography is “Richard Nixon: The Life” (Doubleday).
