Lois McMaster Bujold has written more than 20 novels and numerous short stories, many of which have been part of her multiple-award-winning Vorkosigan Saga, which not only sets the gold standard for space opera, but also garnered her four Hugo and two Nebula awards, as well as many other awards and nominations. Only Robert A. Heinlein has won more Hugos for novels. Her latest in the Vorkosigan Saga is “Cryoburn” (Baen Books). Miles Vorkosigan is a physically impaired interstellar spy and mercenary admiral from the planet Barrayar who lives approximately 1,000 years in the future.
