National Book Festival

Phyllis Reynolds Naylor says she has so many ideas for books that the hardest part of writing for her is focusing only on the book she is currently writing. She says she doesn’t really have any spare time because “if I’m not writing, I’m thinking about writing.” To date, she has written more than 135 books, including, including the Newbery Award–winning “Shiloh” and the “Alice” series. There are 28 books in this popular series, including the final one, “Now I’ll Tell You Everything.” (Atheneum/Simon & Schuster).
