With more than 50 million copies in print worldwide, his books have been published in more than 40 languages, in more than 80 countries. A tireless advocate for literacy and the importance of reading, he is the co-founder, with his wife, of the Wish You Well Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting literacy efforts across America. He lives in Virginia.
