Jennifer L. Holm is the author of several highly praised novels including the Boston Jane trilogy, the Babymouse series (on which she collaborates with her brother, Matthew Holm) and Penny from Heaven (2006). Inspired by her family's stories, her books have twice been awarded Newbery Honors, were American Library Association Notable Children's books, and on The New York Times best-selling lists. Her most recent book is Middle School Is Worse Than Meatloaf (Simon and Schuster, 2007). She lives in Fallston, Maryland.
