Steven Raichlen is a multiple award-winning author, journalist, cooking teacher, and TV host. His 27 best-selling books include Barbecue Bible!, Raichlen on Ribs and How to Grill - all from Workman. He is the recipient of five James Beard Awards and three awards from the International Culinary Professionals Association. His television show, Barbecue University™, is based on his popular Barbecue University™ held at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia), where he was named Cooking Teacher of the Year (2003) by Bon Appetit. He lives and grills in the Miami, Florida area and on Martha’s Vineyard.
