Andrea Beaty is a best-selling author of children’s books. Her published works include “Rosie Revere, Engineer,” “Iggy Peck, Architect,” “Attack of the Fluffy Bunnies,” “Hide and Sheep” and “Artist Ted.” Beaty has received the Friends of American Writers Award, Parents Choice Silver and Gold Medals, National Association of Parenting Publications Gold Medals and the Prairie State Award. Her new children’s book, “Ada Twist, Scientist” (Abrams), is a story about the power of curiosity in the hands of a child who is on a mission to use science to understand her world. Beaty lives with her family in Chicago.
