Speaker Biography:
Douglas Brinkley is a professor of history at Tulane University and a contributing editor for Vanity Fair, Los Angeles Times Book Review and American Heritage. The Chicago Tribune dubbed him “America’s new past master.” Several of his books have been selected as New York Times Notable Books of the Year. His “The Great Deluge” won the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award.
