These headings were revised from singular to plural form. Headings that
represent brands, makes, or lines of products or equipment other than musical instruments
should be established in the plural rather than the singular form. Many older headings for
brands or makes of products do not conform to this policy, for example, Kodak camera, and

Mythology
On WL03-16, the subdivision Mythology was added to H 1095 and authorized for
free-floating use under topical headings. That means that it is no longer necessary to list the
subdivision separately on H 1147, H 1164, and H 1180. The subdivision may still be used on
a free-floating basis under headings for individual animals and groups of animals, individual
organs and regions of the body, and individual plants and groups of plants according to general
instructions in H 1095.
