Lists of new and changed subject headings are posted on the Cataloging and Acquisitions Web site as they are approved.
Changes to existing headings are indicated by an asterisk. (A) indicates proposals that were approved before the editorial meeting. (C) indicates proposals submitted by cooperating libraries.
On lists that were posted prior to August 8, 2007, diacritics and most special characters are not displayed. Beginning with List 32, 2007, diacritics and special characters are shown on each list.
The summary of decisions made at editorial meetings (when applicable) is included at the end of each list.
Currently there are generally twelve approved lists each year. Prior to List 21, 2011, there were generally fifty-one lists each year, with no list published for the final week of December.
