The list of Cutter numbers under DG975 is an "e.g." list. It is not necessary to establish every individual city under this number. In addition, the number has been changed in the bibliographic record to DG975.G738 in order to maintain the correct alphabetical sequence in the shelflist.

The proposal to change the table designation for this number from P-PZ39 to P-PZ40 was not approved because table P-PZ40 is appropriate for use only with Cutter numbers. Table P-PZ39 is the appropriate table to use for a single whole or decimal number.

SUBJECT HEADINGS

Chimneys

The item being cataloged deals with a single artist's series of sculptures entitled "Chimneys". Topical headings of this type are not normally established in LCSH to bring out the theme of a specific art work. The proposal was not approved.

Leolo Mountains Region (South Africa)

An authority record is not needed for this heading (see the Subject Headings Manual, H 760).

Tokyo DisneySea (Urayasu-shi, Japan)

The decision was made, in connection with a proposal that appeared on Weekly List 0910, not to establish separate headings for the component parts of the various Disneyland parks and resorts. That decision applies in this case. Only the existing heading Tokyo Disneyland (Urayasu-shi, Japan) is needed. UF references will be added to that heading from Tokyo DisneySea (Urayasu-shi, Japan), and from the variant forms of that name. The proposal was not approved.
