It is not clear whether this is the formal name of a building or only a descriptive phrase being used to refer to it. If it is determined to be a formal name, the proposal may be resubmitted. Also, it appears that some words have been abbreviated in the heading. These should be spelled out in full, in accordance with the Subject Headings Manual, Appendix A, sec. 1.

Collective thinking

It is not clear what is the intended meaning of this proposed heading. This commonly used term ordinarily refers to a consensus arrived at by any group of people. If a more specialized meaning is intended, a scope note should be provided. Since the item being cataloged appears to focus more on collective action and public participation in efforts to solve global problems than on the process of thought and thinking, a new heading may not be needed. The proposal may be resubmitted if necessary.

Mountain men

This is a general term that is applicable to various groups of people throughout the world, as indicated by many titles in the Library of Congress database. If a heading is needed for the specific historical group that is described in the proposed scope note, it will need to be formulated using a more explicit phrase, or adding a qualifier. Alternatively, the existing heading Mountain people may be assigned in conjunction with other headings to bring out the specific location and time period. The proposal may be resubmitted if necessary.
