Photography of leather garments

The proposal is not applicable to the work being cataloged, which discusses erotic photographs of men wearing leather. A heading with the required degree of specificity may be more appropriate in a locally-created subject list or a special thesaurus rather than in a general list such as LCSH. The cataloger should consider post-coordinating headings such as Gay erotic photography and Photography of men with Leather garments, Leather lifestyle, or similar headings. The proposal was not approved.

Protein deficiency

This proposal was made to add UF references for Protein-energy malnutrition to the existing heading Protein deficiency. Protein-energy malnutrition is not analogous to protein deficiency, since it requires the existence of an energy (i.e. calorie) deficiency. A separate proposal for protein-energy malnutrition may be submitted if desired. The proposal to add the references to Protein deficiency was not approved.
