Membership

Katherine Kott has accepted a new position outside of the cataloging area and has resigned from the committee. Liz Brown of Johns Hopkins has agreed to fill the remainder of Katherine's term, which ends Sept. 30, 2005.

Task Groups

3rd Task Group on Journals in Aggregator Databases: The final report of this task group was submitted to PoCo.

Task Group on Linking Entries: The final touches are being put on the final report of this task group. It is expected that it will be submitted to SCA in time for discussion at Midwinter and that it can be forwarded to PoCo early in first quarter 2005.

Monographic Aggregator Task Group: This new task group was organized during the quarter and is charged with delivering an interim report by Mar. 15, 2005, and a final report in time for ALA Annual, 2005. Members of the task group are Kate Harcourt, Columbia, chair; Becky Culbertson, University of California, San Diego; and Kit Herlihy, California State University, San Marcos.
