The Library of Congress has developed online training for Cataloger's Desktop. This training currently focuses on the CD-ROM product, but provides considerable useful guidance in searching and navigating the web version. Screen captures have not been updated because the web version is currently undergoing major revision and enhancement work. The Cataloging Distribution Service (CDS) will be developing an online tutorial for the web version of Desktop in the coming months. It is anticipated that this tutorial will be a version of the Cataloger's Desktop distance learning course. Cataloger's Desktop subscribers are encouraged to send CDS training materials that they develop for the web version of Desktop.
