Large Number of Records in MDS-Serials (CONSER)

In an effort to re-synchronize the CDS version of the CONSER file with the OCLC version of the CONSER file, CDS recently received a full updated CONSER file from OCLC. As a result of comparison processing on the files, CDS will be redistributing a number of CONSER records. The redistributed records reflect upgrade projects implemented at OCLC over the past few years. MDS-Serials (CONSER) subscribers can expect upcoming issues over the next few months to contain more than the usual number of records.
