Cataloging Documentation Survey

The Library of Congress (LC) is exploring the future of cataloging documentation. As new distribution formats (e.g., electronic) emerge, it is apparent that the time is right to examine the nature and organization of cataloging documentation. This survey asks LC documentation users to offer insights into how to improve this documentation.

The survey is divided into two parts. Part 1 (questions 1-4) covers LC documentation content, structure, and organization. Part 2 asks about distribution formats, including PDF document delivery. If you have no further comments to make at any point in Part 1, please click through until you get to Part 2 (questions 5-10.)

Please respond to this survey by July 31, 2005. Survey results will be published at www.loc.gov/cds and www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso in July.

This survey is now complete. Thank you for your participation.
