- The papers of Samuel Pannill Wilson include correspondence, accounts, receipts, and other papers, relating to transactions concerning the raising, shipping, and selling of tobacco and wheat in Pittsylvania County and Danville, Martinsville, and Richmond, as well as neighboring counties in Virginia and North Carolina. Amongst the collection are accounts and receipts relating to the medical treatment of slaves and their impressment to work on Confederate fortifications and papers relating to the building of a house (1860-1862).
