Current Developments

• Distribution of the 2004 and 2005 Cable Royalty Funds (Docket No. 2007-3 CRB CD 2004-2005)
  

  The direct phase of the trial to determine the Phase I distribution of the 2004 and 2005 royalties collected under the cable statutory license has concluded. 
  
  The parties in this proceeding–the Settling Parties (comprised of the Joint Sports Claimants, Commercial Television Claimants, Public Television Claimants and Music Claimants), Program Suppliers, Devotional Claimants and the Canadian Claimants Group–presented their direct cases from October 6 through October 20, 2009.
  
  Parties are now preparing for the rebuttal phase of the trial. Written rebuttal statements are due to be filed on Friday, December 11, 2009, and rebuttal hearings are scheduled to be held from February 1 through February 5, 2010.
