EAD Elements: <thead> Table Head

Description:

A formatting element that contains the heading information in a <table>, usually column heads, that appears at the top of the table and may appear again at the top of any physical break in rows in the body. The <thead> element is used in two contexts: inside an ordinary structural <table> and to set up the formatting inside of Component <c> or Description of Subordinate Component <dsc> elements that use the <dentry> and <drow> approach to displaying text.
