Every Wednesday from 12:00-12:30 p.m., a staff member will talk about a treasured object or collection and answer questions from the public. Treasure Talks will now be held in the World Treasures of the Library of Congress Exhibition at noon on Wednesdays.

Open to the general public. Please plan to attend!

May 8: Sara Duke (P&P) will discuss the Currier & Ives 1858 print The American Fireman, Always Ready

May 15: Rosemary Plakas (RBSC) will discuss the Rise, Progress, and Termination of the American Revolution by the noted eighteenth- century historian and dramatist, Mercy Otis Warren

May 22: Alice Birney (MSS) will discuss the first and last pages of Ayn Rand's manuscript for the Fountainhead

May 29: Sheridan Harvey (HSS) will discuss women's trade journals and the Millinery Trade Review
