The Online Learning Center gives you access to classroom training, and other learning opportunities offered by the Library of Congress. Plus, it includes an individual development plan that enables you to select courses and other training activities to manage your own professional development. To get started, you'll need an LOC e-mail address and password.
Obtain a Password
To obtain a password for the Online Learning Center, click on the link below. A popup box will appear that prompts you to enter your LOC e-mail address and a couple of additional fields. A password will then be created for you and sent to your LOC e-mail address.
Sign on to the System
After you receive your password for the Online Learning Center via e-mail, you are ready to sign on. To do so, click on the link below. You will be returned to the Online Learning Center Sign On screen and prompted to enter your LOC e-mail address and password you received. The best way to enter the password is to copy and paste it from your e-mail. After you login to the system for the first time you will be prompted to change your password from the one you received in your e-mail to your own private password. The password must conform to the following specifications:
- Be a minimum of 8 characters
- Contain at least one uppercase alpha character
- Contain at least one lowercase alpha character
- Contain at least one number
- Contain at least one special character
Request an LOC E-mail Address
