OCLCFED: FEDLINK OCLC Members List Top

OCLCFED is a moderated mailing list intended for the staff of US federal libraries and information centers that are members of the OCLC Online Computer Library Center. The list is maintained by the FEDLINK Network Operations (FNO) OCLC Team. FNO will use the list to distribute general information about products and prices, policies and practices of OCLC and the FEDLINK OCLC network and to distribute messages from list subscribers that are likely to be of general interest to all subscribers.

All subject areas related to OCLC and federal libraries' use of OCLC will be covered. To help you route messages within your library, the message's subject line will start with a regular character string that indicated the subject area of the message: GENERAL, TECHSVCS, ILL/UL, REF, and ACCESS.

Rather than duplicate information covered on other FEDLINK mailing lists such as FEDCAT-L and FEDREF-L, from time to time OCLCFED will carry summaries of information posted to other lists. The list may also point to interesting new information on the OCLC website ( http://www.oclc.org/).

To ask specific questions about OCLC, please continue to contact the FEDLINK OCLC Team directly, at (202) 707-4800, or fax (202) 707-4837.
