Global Trade Information Services, Inc. (GTI) is the premier publisher of merchandise trade data around the world. It publishes the official trade data of over 80 countries, updated monthly, on a user-friendly database called the Global Trade Atlas®.
The data is accessible over the Internet by HS Code, from the most general to the most specific levels available from each reporting country, in value, quantity and average unit price. Many of the initial steps a user takes in analyzing data have already been done with this unique software. With a click of the mouse, one can see yearly trends for annual, quarterly or monthly data, or create user-defined time periods. Most country data is reported within a month or two of the last reported month. In addition, GTI continues to report data for new countries as well as data by ports and customs districts, on mode of transport and re-exports.
GTI’s software is continuously enhanced to perform more quickly, and with more flexibility, to meet the needs of its subscribers. Its services are complemented by an experienced Washington staff with strong international trade backgrounds available to answer questions quickly by phone or by email.
